Hello Bloggers!! :)
Well... what an awesome night last night was!
Me and three of my friends from Huddersfield ventured to Manchester to a Foam Party at 5th Avenue, and then decided to get the train bk to Huddersfield at 4:30 in the morning and then a taxi bk to Halls....! :) However we all became worried of the plan when we discovered that 5th Avenue closed at 2.... and the train was a 4: 30! What where we going to do???!
Well, with tickets bought and hearts set on it, there was no backing out!
Dressed in sensible clothes (a MUST! for a foam party! You get socked, slippery and don't even bother doing your hair!) we headed onto the bus.
Before we left one of our friends from upstairs invited us for tea to fed us up before we left. Spag Bol, very yummy guinese cake and a glass or two of wine :) We started washing up when Wham came on and took a short break to dance around the kitchen in full you-tube video style doing a whole improvised routine.... one we later re-tried whilst stood on the platform at 4 :15 in the morning waiting to come home to warm us up....
As we left there was the sunset, and we realised next time we would be in huddersfield it would be rising!!
We made it okay to the club all in jolly spirits! And what an mazing pary it was :)Dripping wet, our clothes filled with foam (Note to FOAM PARTY PEOPLES DONT WEAR PRIMARK TIGHTS ! They rip! lucky i bought a spare pair!)
Then 2 oclock hit... and the club was closing, this is where it could have gone all wrong or right....
It was our luck night, the cloakroom que was long enough to pass a about 20 minutes and then we walked to the Gay Village and got some food, escorted by friends cute friend(hehe!) who showed us where to get food!
Then heading bk to the station me and my friend suddenly desperatly needed the loo, and the others needed more sugar to them going. The mixture of Vodka and red bull provided odd highs (involving an incodent where a biscuit was pushed down my top!, and a few strange looks from passers by!). We sepearted and met in the station, and they had clevely bought biscuits (which is how one came to getting down my top!) and magazines that kept us entertained all the way home. We finally arrived bk at 6 in the morning, dived on a vending machines and got in bed.
Such a sucsessful night :)
So here are some Foam party travelling tips:
1. always take spare huddies because you get cold on the way home
2.DONT get drunk because you will be on your back by 2 and never make it home
3. Dont do hair and make up... just run into the Foam! Its awesome
4. Prepared o get it in your eyes , ears, mouth etc! Every where!
5. You get very slippery, try not to dance to hard and avoid slippery handed men on the dancefloor if you get my drift!
6. Get sugar and things to read to help you on the train home to stay awake
7. Make it in your head an amazing time and it is sure to be one!

Blonde in the Hudd- my life and crazy times at uni
Hello!
So its Summer, well it is if for us uni students anyway and i have decided i am going to write a blog! Unfortunetly i am not off to an exotic land, however there are so many interesting things this year that have happened i thought writing them down would make me laugh when i was 80! And i am sure you will have a good giggle, tut and eye roll at our mistakes, misfortunes, adventures and trails.
The question is where to start???!
Well, how about with me, I am 19 and at Uni in Huddersfield :) I have just finished being a fresher and am currently waiting to move into a house with my girlies... and the thought of this will make you laugh when you hear some of our stories!
So far since September i have experienced recovering from an anxiety disorder, becoming independant, the discovery of too much alcohol, many many new friends, living on next to no money (first term was spent on pasta, the second on ravioli however to my dismay i discovered that i could not use a oven or a can opener, for one day when trying to open a ring pull can of ravioli the ring pull broke off, so in a panic i quickly looked in a cupboard and found a can opener... unfortunatly it was the cupboard of a long and suffereing house mate i was cautious of after accidentally breaking one of his plates when playing Jenga with the washing up because i became determined to retreive my knife from the bottom of a stacked pile of bowls, plates and glasses, and, to make things worse woken up countless times coming in drunk and had one night apologised whilst swaying in a circle and then tipping a cup of water i was holding over me and him, much to my amusement and his displeasure) it was here that i , looking around the kitchen, convinced he may suddenly jump out from behind me i tried to open the can and ended up half and hour later with half the can open, a very bent can opener and the other half not. So, slipping it back into his cupboard and hoping he wouldn't notice, i used a knife to push the lid into the can and squashed the ravioli and in the end i managed to squash out one peice when i gave up, to nervous with the stress of being found out, ate and decided never to try with it again for it was too distressing!).
I also learnt that sometimes life sucks, and the rest of time it rocks! thats i own to many shoes. I discovered this when getting ready for a night out , standing up from my computer and tripping over a wire, managing to balance myself with one foot but then slipping on a shoe that i had balanced my foot on and falling head first into the door!.... and also that it is acceptable to walk though the grounds of my halls in my slippers at 1 in the morning.... and this is where the blog starts.....
One of my friends went away for 4 days on a lovely trip with his gf and on coming back he wanted to be filled in on what had happened in the four nights he had been away it took me one hour! The stories involving drunken antics where after getting out of a taxi at 3 in the morning with chips one of my friends dropped one, just out of nowhere and i drunken exclaiming, 'Look he has dropped his penis! ' On this revolation my other friend walked over and stamped on it.. to apologise she handed him some narn bread saying 'I am Jesus handing out my bread to you all' Then claiming she was God she said 'i will smite you all'! and proceeded to trip over onto the grass!
This was just the end of an already awesome night!
So here is the start of my blog, i must stop now because it is currently 01:38 in the morning and i am supposed to be up to go home tomorrow for the day! :)
I hope this first post didnt bore you , and trust me there are many more funny stories i am sure to come your way! So feel free to keep reading
